MARILYN KNOWLDEN — 94 YEARS OLD

Many of us may not know who Marilyn Knowlden was, but she’s actually one of the biggest child stars back in the days. She pretty much had a deep understanding of how money management works at a very young age since she started working in the industry at the tender age of four. Her film debut was in 1931 in the film Women Love Once and with just a few months after, she was able to grab a spot in The Cisco Kid and Husband’s Holiday.

She was a freelancer back in the days and one of the main reasons why her father didn’t want her to tie into a contract was her freedom as a child. Good thing her dad was an attorney who pretty much knew the ins and outs of their contracts. She released her autobiography just a couple of years ago called Little Girl in Big Pictures.
