TONI TENNILLE – 80 YEARS OLD

Toni Tennille is one of the greatest musicians of the 70s, especially during her time with her former husband Daryl Dragon, in the duo Captain & Tennille. They are the artists behind the hit song Love Will Keep Us Together. Tennille has done some music work independently from her husband, including her solo album. However, in 2014, the couple decided to hire a divorce lawyer and went their separate ways. The two remained close friends after their divorce and she was one of the few people that supported Dragon during his health-related struggles.

A couple of years ago, she released her autobiography and explained the status of her relationship with her former husband. In the summer of the same year, she conducted an autobiographical book tour and later, the book was also published on some audiobook browsing platforms. She’ll turn 80 this coming May and she might be happy with her retirement and the success she had during her prime.
