KIM NOVAK – 87 YEARS OLD
It seems like starting from the get-go, Kim Novak was destined to become a significant figure in the industry. During her school years, she never had any issues with student loans because of the scholarships she earned at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She later became a known model for a refrigerator company, where she was dubbed Miss Deepfreeze. Novak later appeared in films such as Picnic, The Man with the Golden Arm, Pal Joey, and Madeline Elster/Judy Barton in the thriller film Vertigo.
Novak’s image was a big success at the box office and then began starring roles including Fred McMurray, William Holden, Frank Sinatra, James Stewart, Tyrone Powell, Kirk Douglas, Lawrence Harvey, and several other famous leaders of the era. She had to retire early from Hollywood but gathered a couple of prestigious awards during her short stay in the industry. Currently, at 87, she now enjoys working as a painter and visual artist.
