DAWN WELLS – 82 YEARS OLD

Former beauty queen, Dawn Wells made significant projects in the past including her role as Mary Ann Summers in the classic Gilligan’s Island. Right before she got her degree in theater arts and design at the University of Washington in Seattle, she joined a beauty pageant and brought home the crown. Equipped with wits and stunning looks, she went on to compete for the 1960 Miss America crown but wasn’t included in the top listers.

After that, she went on to start her Hollywood journey and appeared in many films during the earlier part of her career. Her success continued throughout the years. However, there were reports that she’s dealing with financial issues and came almost close to the bankruptcy limit. She founded the Idaho Film and Television Academy, a non-profit educational organization. In November 2009, she participated in the Denver Foundation’s Christmas celebrity auction to help people with disabilities and disadvantaged groups raise funds.
