SNOOP DOGG AND SHANTE TAYLOR — 19 YEARS

Born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. in California, Snoop Dogg began his music career in 1992, all thanks to the influential producer Dr. Dre. The latter discovered him and collaborated with him on the theme song of the film Deep Cover in 1992. Since then, Dogg expanded his music career and is now one of the wealthiest rappers to come out of the ’90s rap scene, keeping an impressive credit report. It’s definitely a success story for the famed rapper, as he used to deliver newspapers and bag groceries to make ends meet.

Part of his success is his lasting marriage to his high school girlfriend, Shante Taylor. The pair tied the knot on June 12, 1997, and were blessed with three kids: Cordé, Cordell, and Cori. Despite separating in 2004, Dogg and Taylor rekindled their marriage in 2008. Their time apart made them stronger together.
