KEVIN BACON AND KYRA SEDGWICK — 19 YEARS

Kevin Bacon is an American actor turned musician who has had impressive acting credits throughout the years, portraying both family-friendly and darker characters. Perhaps his most famous films were Footloose, Apollo 13, Mystic River, and A Few Good Men. Bacon has also won countless awards and achieved tremendous success. He was even the subject of a parlor game invented by four Albright College students, called “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.” For much of his early career, though, the actor worked as a waiter while accepting minor roles in soap operas.

While working on Lanford Wilson’s play Lemon Sky, he met his future wife, actress Kyra Sedgwick. They married on September 4, 1988, and have two children, Travis Sedgwick and Sosie Ruth. Bacon and Sedgwick both starred in a number of films, including The Woodsman, Pyrates, Murder in the First, and Loverboy.
