Ron Howard is an American actor, producer, and director. He rose to fame in the role of Opie Taylor in the sitcom The Andy Griffith Show. Then he played the teenaged Richie Cunningham in the sitcom Happy Days for six years. He made his debut in American Graffiti in 1973. His directorial debut is the comedy film Grand Theft Auto in 1977. Ron Howard is a prominent name in the world of filmmaking.
His notable works include A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13, and The Da Vinci Code, which became top-grossing films.
