ELIZABETH BANKS AND MAX HANDELMAN — 17 YEARS

Before landing on a directorial career, Elizabeth started her career as a small-time actress and appeared in the low-budget independent film Surrender Dorothy. Since then, she has starred in highly successful films, such as What to Expect When You’re Expecting, the Pitch Perfect film series, and Man on a Ledge. True to her name, she is indeed a bankable star with probably a high credit score.

She met her husband, producer, and sportswriter Max Handelman, during her first day of college in September 1992. They exchanged wedding vows in 2003 and were blessed with two sons who were born via surrogate. The couple has been happily married for 17 years; it’s a wonderful sight to see them both walking side by side in red carpet events and other Hollywood occasions. “We definitely grew together. We were constantly making decisions that kept us close,” Banks once shared in an interview.
