STEVE MARTIN AND ANNE SPRINGFIELD – 13 YEARS
Born in Waco, Texas, and raised in Southern California, Steve Martin became a television writer in the late 1960s. He rose to fame for his work, the hit series “The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour”, which led to him earn an Emmy Award. By the end of the decade, he started to perform his material in clubs and on television. Steve Martin made a name for himself as one of the greatest stand-up comedians of all time.
He is also a multi-awarded comedian, having earned Grammy, Emmy, and American Comedy awards. He also placed sixth in the list of 100 greatest stand-up comics by Comedy Central in 2004. Credits to his skills and talent, he also works as a writer and musician. Steve’s success is not only in his career but also in his marriage. He wed the writer Anne Stringfield in July 2007. Anne gave birth to their daughter in the year 2012, making Steve a first-time father at age 67.
