KEVIN KLINE AND PHOEBE CATES- 32 YEARS

For Kevin Kline and Phoebe Cates, a 16-years age gap was not an issue for making their relationship work. As when Hollywood couples mostly end with a phone call with a lawyer, the two are far from joining the bandwagon. For 32 years, the pair remained faithful and devoted to each other. In fact, Cates even retire from acting to focus on their family.

When Kline met Cates, she was just 19 years old with a career just starting. Though Kline thought that Cates was too good for him, their compatibility is undeniable. Friendship turned to romance and eventually tying the knot in 1989 – Cates was 25 and Kline was 41. The couple has two kids, Owen and Greta. Kline and Cates are yet to share their secret in keeping a marriage alive, but we are sure that they maintain a level of respect and trust for each other.
