BONO AND ALISON HEWSON – 39 YEARS

If you include their years as boyfriend and girlfriend, then Bono and Alison Hewson have been together for over four decades already. The famous singer and the activist met when they were still young and in high school. The couple started dating when Bono was 15 and Alison was 14. Even at a young age, the two knew that they were meant to be together. They got married in 1982 when they were 22 and 21, respectively. During that time, Bono was already on his way to stardom. A year after they got married, U2, Bono’s band, became an international hit.

Building a family together was not easy, according to Bono. Living with an independent and strong woman entails arguments, but all of that was nothing compared to their love and devotion for each other.
