COLIN FIRTH AND LIVIA GIUGGIOLI – 22 YEARS

Colin Firth is the actor known for his successful films such as Bridget Jones’ Diary, The King’s Speech, and Kingsman. As it turns out, he has a love story, just like in the movies. When Firth met Livia Giuggioli, an Italian TV producer, on the set of Nostromo in 1996, the two fell in love with each other and got married the following year. The world was shocked when they announced that they were splitting in 2019 after 22 years together. The pair, however, haven’t secured a lawyer’s help to make their separation legal since their announcement two years ago.

Though it was a sour split-up, the bond and respect of the two for each other are intact to this day. There was no bad-mouthing from either party, and they kept their situation private all throughout the ordeal. Additionally, the couple was said to have maintained a good relationship together for their children’s sake. As proof, the two were spotted spending New Year’s Eve of 2020. Despite the turmoil that surrounds their separation, it was laudable how they remained civil and connected.
