LEONARD WHITING – 70 YEARS OLD

The actor Leonard Whiting etched his name in the hearts and minds of his viewers’ thanks to his role as Romeo in the 1968 film adaptation of the famous Romeo and Juliet. His iconic performance easily earned him a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year. He has all the potential to become one of the best in the industry but he decided to settle on smaller productions available in theaters rather than going into the mainstream media.

In 1971, he decided to tie the knot with the model Cathee Dahmen. However, they decided to part ways and hired a couple of divorce attorneys to finalize the deal. Their relationship came to a full stop in 1977. In 2014, he and his former co-star in Romeo and Juliet, Olivia Hussey got reunited in a project for a film called Social Suicide.
