LORETTA LYNN – 88 YEARS OLD
On April 14th, 934, Lolita Lynn was born in the remote mountain village Butcher Valley in eastern Kentucky. Her real name was Lolita Webb. Her father was a coal miner, and her family was poor. She ranks second among the eight children in the family. Loretta Lynn established herself as one of the most notable personalities in the American country music scene as a singer and songwriter. She had spent most of her life in her craft and achieved numerous awards and recognitions in her six-decade run.
She’s responsible for bringing us some of the most memorable tunes such as You Ain’t Woman Enough (To Take My Man), Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ on Your Mind) and Coal Miner’s Daughter. Lynn has built up not only a good reputation in the music industry but a solid credit score as well. During the later part of last year, Loretta Lynn was present in the Nashville release of the movie Patsy & Loretta that highlighted the kind of relationship she had with Patsy Cline.
