MILDRED KORNMAN — 95 YEARS OLD

Mildred Kornman or professional known as Ricki VanDusen was a former model and actress in Hollywood. Her mother is actress Verna Kornman, she has appeared in many movies. Her father is a professional static photographer Eugene Kornman, after she became a model, he also took a lot of portraits for her. She wasn’t even a year old when she first appeared in a silent film alongside her sister in Thundering Fleas and The Fourth Alarm. Her career as a child actress continued to blossom in the next couple of years.

When she became a bit older, Kornman went on from a child actress and jumped to the fashion scene as a model in various magazines such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. She also tried a couple of investments before going back to pursue her passion for photography. She majored in art at the University of California, Los Angeles, and also refreshed English and Spanish. On December 30, 1943, Kornman married Norton Hinsey.
