He may or may not have been doing a bit of sprucing up to his property in Nana Glen for his partner Terri Irwin, but one thing is for certain—the 989 acres in Australia’s New South Wales is a real beauty. With the recent fires that have been raging across the country, however, this property did receive some damage which also includes the mansion situated within it. The Australian fires were one of the most devastating natural phenomena to ever occur in a while and luckily for Russel Crowe, his mansion was situated just far enough that it wasn’t ravaged by the forest fires.

There were also allegations of firefighters skipping other homes along the way, having been directed to Crowe’s home instead. True or not, we sure hope insurance helps with getting everyone back on their feet. The Australian community can slowly get back on their feet if insurance companies go the extra mile and help them.
