JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS

Julia Louis-Dreyfus captured the hearts of audiences everywhere during the 1990s thanks to the TV credits she had earned appearing on Seinfeld as catalog writer Elaine Benes and on Veep as politician and U.S. President Selina Meyer. After graduating from high school, Julia studied at Northwestern University, majoring in comedy, and then dropped out of college for acting. The New York native was noted for her skillful maneuvering of the art of comedy.

There is no stopping Louis-Dreyfus even until today. Shortly before appearing on Veep, she was the star of the cable sitcom The New Adventures of Old Christine, portraying self-centered single mother Christine Campbell. Julia has won 2 Emmy Awards, 1 Golden Globe Award, and 5 Screen Actors Guild Awards in her career so far; she is also one of the most Emmy nominations in history. In May 2010, Julia was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contribution to the television industry.
