TERI WEIGEL

Teri Weigel began modeling in her teens, but her popularity spread like electricity throughout the industry in 1985 when she graced the cover of the controversial Playboy magazine. She was deemed an official Playboy Playmate a year later and began to earn acting credits through her appearances in a few TV shows like Married with Children.

Weigel later got caught in a vehicular accident which left her fatally wounded and unable to work for over four months. She probably did not avail of the right insurance since the whole scenario left her on the brink of bankruptcy. She and Murrill Maglio reluctantly sold their home. While making nude videos (this is Weigel’s last project for “Playboy”), a colleague suggested making adult films to make money. Initially dismissed the idea, Weigel finally reconsidered. Weigel and Maglio talked with neighbors Fred and Patty Lincoln who made adult films.
