CHRISTINA RICCI

Christina Ricci was born in Santa Monica, California, and grew up in New Jersey on the East Coast of the United States. At the graduation ceremony of elementary school, a film critic took a fancy to Christina Ricci’s big eyes and quirky character and encouraged her parents to let her appear on TV. Since then, Christina Ricci began to appear in some commercials. Christina Ricci started acting professionally when she joined the cast of the 1990 dramedy film Mermaids in her film debut alongside singer Cher and fellow actress Winona Ryder.

She was labeled a teen idol when she was cast in the 1995 movies Casper and Now and Then where her character’s adult self becomes a doctor with a degree specialization in obstetrics. Ricci has since stuck to little-known indie movies recently, her most recent film credits including her fascinating work on Monster. Her most popular recent TV credit goes to her performance on the ABC serial medical drama Grey’s Anatomy as paramedic Hannah Davies.
