MARISA TOMEI

The lovable brunette Marisa Tomei caught her glimpse of the limelight back in the first half of the ‘90s thanks to her starring performance in the comedy movie My Cousin Vinny as Mona Lisa Vito, the cheeky wife of the equally cocky Italian-American lawyer Vincent “Vinny” Gambini. The part won her that year’s Oscar Award for “Best Supporting Actress”. Tomei never did marry in all of her life since she already has a pretty hectic acting schedule. Since her work in the comedy film as well as in the sitcom A Different World, she has been slated to appear in several movies this year.

Marissa Tomei was born in Brooklyn, New York. She liked watching movies very much when she was a child. She almost went to theaters in New York, and she liked Kim Carey. Her parents put most of their energies on work, and they often left her and her younger brother in the care of her grandmother. Not only did Marissa have a deep relationship with her grandmother, but she also benefited from her grandmother’s career in acting.
