CHRISTINA APPLEGATE

Christina Applegate was born in an art house, her father Robert Albert was a record producer, and her mother Nancy Pridi was a singer and actress. Shortly after birth, Christina’s father divorced. Christina has a half-brother Kyle Elgate and sister Alisa Elgate. Christina lives with her mother, and her mother never remarried, and all her audition and acting work is handled by her mother.

Christina Applegate’s most popular early TV credit goes to her portrayal of the blond airhead Kelly Bundy on the TV sitcom Married With Children. Unlike her ditzy on-screen persona, the daughter of record executive Robert William Applegate and performing artist Nancy Priddy knew the industry well. Unfortunately Christina’s world came crashing down when she was diagnosed with cancer back in 2008. Thanks to a great insurance plan, she managed to have a full mastectomy that successfully removed the BRCA1 gene that provoked her cancer in the first place. Health is an investment after all, and gladly her health has been good lately.
