Erik Estrada — Police Officer

For those who have seen CHiPs, we bet Francis (Frank) Llewelyn “Ponch” Poncherello made an indelible mark in your mind because of the things he achieved in the show. The man behind the character, Erik Estrada, did a great job of portraying highway patrol officers’ daily struggles and successes. You can definitely feel the passion Estrada had for playing his role. From the look of things, it seemed like he wanted to become a highway police officer in real life.

A couple of decades after the show went off the air, it looks like his dream came true, and was awarded a position as a reserved police officer in Idaho — the man really did become a police officer in the end. We really have to give him credit for fulfilling his dream and this goes to show that it is always never too late to pursue your dream job.
