John Cassisi — Construction Work

The former child actor John Cassisi used to be part of mainstream television back in the mid to late ’70s. Cassisi was discovered in a very unusual way, and if you don’t know the details, you’ll be blown away by them. It turns out that Bugsy Malone’s director, Alan Parker, paid a visit to a school in Brooklyn and asked the students who were the ‘naughtiest’ in the class to audition.

You guessed it, the naughtiest student in the bunch was Cassisi — and the rest, as they say, is history. He appeared in a couple of Hollywood projects, including the films Bugsy Malone and Fish, but his career under the limelight lasted just a couple of years. After that, he became part of a company that handled construction work. Unfortunately, he faced a couple of issues that required a lawyer’s assistance.
