BARBARA MANDRELL – SEAT BELT ADVOCATE
When we think about country music of the 70s and 80s, Barbara Mandrell’s name always appears in the equation. She’s an icon when it comes to this genre, and is considered to be one of the most successful vocalists of her time. Due to her charming voice and singing skills, she was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum and received many awards.
Everything was going well for her until an unfortunate event happened. One day, Mandrell got involved in a car accident, along with her two children. That’s when she decided to become an advocate for safe and proper usage of seat belts. We just home she had the right insurance to back her up. Mandrell now spends time gardening, painting and taking care of her family and pets.
