MC HAMMER – ENTREPRENEUR

The singer and television personality Stanley Kirk Burrell, who is better known as MC Hammer or just Hammer, is the man behind the popular hit song U Can’t Touch This. He’s also one of the main figures in the Hollywood music scene from the ‘80s until the mid-’90s. He founded the record label Burst It Productions in 1980. The record label changed into Burstin’ Records, and in 1987, he released his debut album ever since he was persistent on being a good artist and devoted himself to music.

Things seem to be looking good for the singer during that time, but it went south after he found himself in a spending traphole. He needed to file bankruptcy in 1996, and this is due to his excessive spending while he was at the peak of his career. He’s now able to bounce back from the situation, thanks to the smart investments he made with some of his own business ventures.
