KARYN PARSONS – ORGANIZATION FOUNDER

Solid fans of NBC’s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air will instantly recognize the actress that played the role of Hilary Banks, and that’s the one and only Karyn Parsons. A few years after the show went off-air, Parsons also took a significant hiatus from Hollywood. Parsons also published two books for children: an intermediate novel How High the Moon and a picture-book Flying Free, which were inspired by her mother’s childhood.

There is no doubt that Parsons was an very excellent actress and camedian in her first half of her life. However, after thinking about her future plans, she put a lot of investments and founded Sweet Blackberry Foundation, an organization that promotes and spreads the story unsung African-American people. This is her way of advocating equal rights and propagating the significance of African-American people in the society.
