Gerardo – Youth Pastor

It’s hard to forget the Latin hip-hop hit from the ’90s, “Rico Suave.” Interestingly, the hit hip-hop track didn’t come from a recording artist named Rico Suave. The iconic deep voice on “Rico Suave” was provided by Gerardo. Besides “Rico Suave,” Gerardo has other hit musical credits to his name, including “We Want the Funk,” “Maria Elisa,” and “When the Lights Go Out.” Gerardo is also known for his electric live performances, and he’s managed to acquire the nicknames “Latin Frank Sinatra,” “Latin Elvis,” and “Latin Tony Zuzio.”

Gerardo is known for his skintight jeans, bandana, and shirtless torso. However, this persona would take a complete 180-degree turn when he announced that he’s rededicating his life to religion. In 2013, Gerardo became a youth pastor based in Kentucky and Kansas. We certainly believe that his seductive jam from the 90s won’t be the first thing he’ll be sharing with the young ones!
