Jessica Sierra – Waitress at Hooters

American Idol is a show that’s known to produce numerous superstars, but a lot of its former contestants eventually fell out of relevance and returned to their normal lives. Jessica Sierra was one of the finalists in the 2005 American Idol. She was even able to release her debut album! Unfortunately, her struggle with substance abuse contributed to her downward spiral in the entertainment business.

Jessica Sierra later appeared on the well-known VH1 show Celebrity Rehab. However, she was arrested in 2008, and a judge sentenced her to enter a real rehabilitation center. During her time in rehab, Jessica was prohibited from taking any interviews, promote Celebrity Rehab, or appear on TV. She eventually completed her sentence, and she immediately released an album called Rebound. The album eventually failed to chart, and Jessica needed money loans to stay afloat. Sierra eventually found a job as a waitress at Hooters when she realized that her music career wasn’t enough to pay the bills.
