CHAZ BONO

In the 1960s, Cher hit No. 1 with the single “I Got You, Babe”. She started her acting career in the 1980s and played the role in Silkwood and Mask. Due to her excellent performance in Moonstruck, she won an Academy Award. No matter she is a singer or an actor, she is very successful. Chaz Bono is the son of famous singers Cher and Sonny Bono. He’s now an actor and writer.

He became famous when he went through a gender transition from female to male, back in 2008 up to 2010. It was a thorough and gradual process. During the transition, Chaz continued to be an advocate for equal rights and the LGBT community. He legally changed his name in 2010. It was probably odd for Cher at first but she accepted him for who he is and gave him the full support that he needed. Let’s give them credit for being cool parents!
